08-30-26 WELCOME all from Aaron (CFMC) amd Mick (MIRANDCO) to our hosting a first event focused on areas of scale modelling that we feel could use boost in visibility. The event is called FASMS for short, it comes from FAntasy Sci-fi Model Showcase, and that's what it is overall
NOT A CONTEST or COMPETITION event. FASMS is being tried out in a style akin to what some people who do scale models may remember as NNL West automotive scale model display event staged at the Santa Clara Convention Center many years annually in January, a DISPLAY models & SOCIALIZE Day !
Mick has been a scale modeler & contest event director for many years and Aaron is building expertise in similar fashion as President of CFMC (Char's Fantasy Model Club) which meets here in San Jose !
MIRANDCO is Mick's hobby business and he is financing the bulk of this first time out event. So we have currently gained an affordable space known as the Media Hall at the San Jose Elks Lodge, photos below will illiustrate entry and the actual room
